    This Privacy Policy explains how Cipher Vault ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects the personal
    information of users ("you" or "your") of the Cipher Vault Android Application ("the Application"). By using the
    Application, you consent to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy.

    1.1. Personal Information
    (a) We do not collect any personal information, including your name, email address, or contact details, through the
    Application.
    (b) The master password you generate is not stored anywhere, and only the hash of the master password is stored
    within the Application.

    1.2. Non-Personal Information
    (a) The Application integrates Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics, which collect certain non-personal
    information about your usage of the Application.
    (b) This non-personal information may include click events, biometric events (such as successful or failed
    authentication attempts), and the count of added passwords/notes.

    1.3. Backup to Google Drive
    (a) With the new feature, you now have the option to back up your encrypted passwords and notes to your Google Drive
    account.
    (b) The data backed up to your Google Drive account will also be encrypted using your master password.

    2. Use of Information

    2.1. Non-Personal Information
    (a) We use the non-personal information collected through Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to analyze and
    improve the functionality, performance, and user experience of the Application.
    (b) This information is used in an aggregated and anonymized form and does not identify individual users.

    3. Data Security

    3.1. Encryption and Data Storage
    (a) The passwords and notes you store within the Application are encrypted using your master password, and only you
    can decrypt the information using the correct master password.
    (b) Your encrypted passwords and notes are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted or stored on any
    remote servers.

    3.2. Biometric Authentication
    (a) The Application uses the biometrics feature provided by your device's operating system for authentication
    purposes.
    (b) No biometric information, such as fingerprints or facial scans, is stored within the Application. The
    biometric authentication process is handled entirely by the device's operating system.

    4. Third-Party Services

    4.1. Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics
    (a) The Application integrates Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics, which are third-party services provided
    by Google.
    (b) The collection and processing of non-personal information by Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics are
    subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy to understand how your information 
    is handled by these services.

    5. Disclaimer of Responsibility

    5.1. User Responsibility
    (a) You acknowledge and understand that you are solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality
    of your master password.
    (b) We do not assume any responsibility for any unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure of your encrypted passwords
    and notes.

    5.2. Backup Responsibility
    (a) While we have taken measures to ensure the security of the backup feature, you acknowledge that enabling the backup
    to Google Drive is at your own risk.
    (b) We do not accept responsibility for any unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure of your encrypted passwords and
    notes that may occur in connection with the backup feature.

    6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

    We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any significant
    changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy within the Application. Your continued use of the Application after such
    modifications will constitute your acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy.
